Hab das Gefühl, mein Smartphone ist nicht in der Lage, den hohen Schalldruck noch zu erkennen bzw. ist irgendwo begrenzt. Ansonsten ist es tagsüber selbst auf dem Campingplatz eigentlich so laut (>80 dB), dass man dauerhaft Gehörschutz tragen sollte (was ich auch tue).

I understand. But the better term for what you are describing would be "feature phone" or "dumbphone", because the alleged "pensioner's/senior phone" is not what you think it is.

What you want is a dumbphone that is capable of using RCS, because MMS is gone (for good). And it should support 4G ...

Vodafone Germany has shutdown MMS Service already in 2023. Now Deutsche Telekom and Telefonica Germany followed July 1, 2026. So only RCS and messenger services are supported from now on.

If your communication partners were connected to Vodafone's towers, they weren't able to receive any MMS ...
