@Kudrun

Bahaha, high 5 to that!

Aaah -- there I'm with you! So you do a hotel night stopover on the way, am I getting it right? Very good choice, in that case.

Okie. Anytime. And not sure, mine is a local (maybe they all are?) and even has a network of others collaborating with him. Big business, apparently. I would guess they have been asked by supporters to drive earlier on some occasion before?

For sure! I always check the local "agrarwetter" page almost maniacally the 10 days before. Also always have said that, in case it looks too bad, I will cancel my trip. Now ... not sure. It's Fusion, after all.<3 But I mean, this would be an absolute nightmare:

Uff. Not good. And you didn't get sick? I'd be sick in 2 days. At least you got that lesson ingrained now ...

No no, I've always brought a small village. I'm a small village kind of person, alas. Might as well embrace it, right?

I'm also volunteering some of my time this year, btw. Have a 75 % disability pension, so the full supporter package isn't an option. But it's not like I'm incompetent or anything; my stamina just is a bit lower, to put it simply. Still want to somehow give back a bit, so asked if it would be possible but under my own conditions, and got a yes and where to go. Very much looking fwd to that. :D

After that I check my camping and general festival gear to stock up on broken or missing stuff and about a week before the festival I do a big dm and grocery purchase. Additionally I love this forum and my friends/camp WhatsApp group, where everybody is hyped 😍
Good one! I've watched the 3 (?) 1st parts (long ago) but have yet to find time for the 4th. Do you know if it's all done now (it was supposed to be 5 parts, no)?

Sorry, what's a dm?

Cool, sounds like a neat setup.:)) Have posted only a few times here earlier, this is the 1st year I'm really involved, but also am enjoying it a lot.

To all you excel profs with well-established packing lists: Would anyone be so kind as to share their rundown? While this year is going to be my 6th Fusion, it has been 5 years since I last went, and I just know I am going to arrive and regret having not thought of some of the absolute basics that you learn to bring after going a few times.. Stuff like maybe ducktape, safety pins, flipflops, etc.

Would be much appreciated if anyone could let me in on the long-lost secrets of Fusion-packing!

I would've already, if it weren't for the aspects that it's in Swedish and needs editing for readability + both for you to understand what I mean in many cases ("Emma's top" doesn't really say anything to you, does it?), and for privacy reasons. Also, I have a deadline today. But I'll have a quick look and see if maybe I could churn something out without it taking too long. Otherwise, I hope someone else can be of assistance.

Congrats on your 6th, btw -- it'll be my 6th too. :D

Well, here's mine. In Swedish though, so if Google Translate fucks with any of it, feel free to ask for clarification. The items are kinda grouped into what area they're for (mostly, anyway -- and I guess better in my file. The transfer messed a lot up).

Clothes I have my "Fusion clothes" that I know I feel at home and comfy in, but also that I won't die dead should something happen and I lose them (again, most of it), and make sure I have especially ENOUGH SOCKS (of varying thickness), as the feet take such a beating.

I also pack various types of clothes (tops, long sleeves, pants, dresses, underwear, etc) in different plastic bags, as it's kind of like having neat little "drawers", + less resistance when digging things out from, or shoving them down into, the backpack, and great for keeping organized -- ooh, and a large plastic bag for dirty laundry ofc.

As your UN is Caesar, I'm guessing you won't need tampons (maybe for your nose?), but it's out there for anyone to read, so ... HTHS!

Nice Thread. Every year the same. Tention rises up once when the „ticketing time“ takes place. Then low.
Tension seemd to rise at the end of March, when the first sunshine appears. I am so hyped yet, cant wait, i think of the Fusion multiple times a day, everyday❤️❤️❤️❤️🚀
