Meinungsänderung auf der Fusion

Moin, wie viele vielleicht wissen ist die Fusion ja schon ein Event mit viel "politischen" / soziologischen / ideologischen oder wie auch immer man es definieren will, Botschaften, Vorträgen, workshops wenn man nicht gar das ganze Event als eine Art politisches statement oder Beispiel darstellen will.

Was mich interessiert istat jemand hier den Eindruck durch diese schonmal neue Erkenntnisse gemacht zu haben oder wirklich die eigene Weltanschauung oder politische Meinung zu ändern? Dies ist keineswegs als kritik gemeint sondern eher so, dass auf die Fusion ja auch Leute gehen sie ich sag mal weniger politisch motiviert sind oder eher unpassende Ansichten haben. Hat jemand den Eindruck oder sie Erfahrung, dass sich so etwas irgendwie mal änderte?

Also ka, so als ausgedehntes Beispiel jemand ist dem Anarchismus z.b. kritisch gegenüber und ändert die Meinung nach nem Workshop

Ich habe im laufe der Jahre einige Workshops und Vorträge besucht, vor allem zu Themen, über die ich mehr lernen oder eine andere Perspektive hören wollte.. Aber auch zu mir unbekannteren Themen, mit denen ich mich vorher noch nie befasst habe und wo ich einfach "reingestolpert" bin. Würde schon sagen, dass ich da jedes Mal mit (mindestens) neuen Gedanken rausgegangen bin. Und manchmal auch mit einer veränderten Haltung

ich habe durch die Fusion festgestellt das meine utopien auch mit vielen Menschen funktionieren kann.

des Weiteren habe ich mal meinen Vater mitgenommen der in der heftigen mitlife crises hing und danach ging es im auch viel besser. Da gesehen hat das es nicht nur schwarz weiss gibt.

I think the political significance of Fusion has maybe not so much to do with "changing people's opinions", but mostly works on other levels. Let me point to some such levels of political significance:

* Fusion gives back some hope in a time of much political despair. That is, we who are already leftists can feel encouraged to keep doing what we do instead of giving up. This is also connected to the fact that Fusion is not only a festival for younger people, but really open for all ages.

* Kulturkosmos, as an organization, has no other choice than to take certain political positions and to work out political differences within the larger community of people involved. I'm sure that there are both good and bad experiences from that process and I don't need to remind you of the debates before past year's festival. But overall, my impression (as an outsider, not even from Germany) is that these Auseinandersätzungen play a constructive role overall. If the debates weren't taken in the context of arranging a festival, they would have to take place in some other setting, where they would have become more infected.

* If there wasn't Fusion, there would have been other festivals, arranged by people with other values (or no values at all except for profit-seeking). In particular, I think about those festivalgoers who may be called "burner-adjascent" (as in: Burning Man) or maybe neo-hippies. In some countries, there is a much stronger element of right-wing libertarianism and "conspirituality" in that scene. If Kulturkosmos didn't provide a left-wing festival catering to burner-adjascent neo-hippies, it is very possible that some of them would be drawn towards right-wing ideology. It's good enough to prevent the formation of a right-wing festival culture, even without turning everyone into a leftist.

* The feeling of living in a world without cops is more revolutionary than any theory can ever be.

one festival will not change your identity, but you will be exposed to different information, relate more of your favorite artists with some political opinions, will reflect on what is said and it will make it easier for your friends to identify with it. and hence at one point you might consider those opinions aswell.

And what is it more than considering other perspectives to broaden your worldview. No one expects someone to 100% adapt their own thoughts. but to reflect and consider them.
