Well, we all know how this went by now.
It's not about making the world a better place; it's about making ourselves better persons. The rest comes naturally.

 Yeah, you weren't a fan of the heat right? Bit too cold and rainy for me there though, especially the last 2 nights or so were freezing! But 35C was on the high end for me as well, especially mixed with the ferry A/C ... perhaps needless to say, yes, I did get sick upon return. But it still was well worth it.

Exactly, my body hates the heat, my skin is fairly pale and my head is hairless. My body produces enough heat on its own for me to get warm quickly when moving, and as if that wasnt enough, I also sweat a lot.
My preference is 22°, personal limit is 25°C and anything above that can fuck off to be honest.
If you saw a stoic looking dude dressed black on black with a black umbrella despite a cloudless sky, that was probably me lol

And with climate change and the general unpredictability of german weather, for me it was very good this year all in all. Id rather have a bit of rain here and there and colder nights instead of melting in 30°+ heat like in 2019. (Have to agree though, 2 nights were a bit too fresh, I remember reading something like 12°C in the forecast)
Because with the cold, you can always put on more stuff. But with the heat, its not that easy. And this year it was as noticeable as ever for me: My brain slows down when its hot. Im sitting with my peepz in our camp, under one of those textile roofs attached to a camper. One would think it blocks the sun, as there is shade under it, but I still felt the suns heat on my bald head. Late afternoon finally some clouds appeared, covered the sun and 10 minutes later after the sun was hidden and it became noticeably cooler, it was like a switch was flipped for me. I didnt feel like just hanging around anymore, my head became clearer and I started to participate in the conversations again.
But most importantly, I was able to party the night from friday to saturday without worrying about the heat.
In the last years on multiple occassions, the sunrise was my reminder to slowly wrap it up, as I know from experience that coming down in the blazing sun is torture, especially when you really need that sleep because youre also working.
This year I finally could party as long as I felt like partying and went to sleep without waking up 2h later drenched in sweat.

Besides my vampire complexion, I think its also generally better for everyone to have weather like this year. Its annoying to get cold, but at the same time, it forces at least some people back to their tents and get new clothes. Which in turn means they are more likely to take a break, have a snack or just decide to just stay at the camp if its too cold/raining.
Additionally, in temps like this year, they are also less likely to land at the medics due to the body being overwhelmed with substances and the heat on top.
So while sunny skies are of course nice festival weather, realistically and objectively speaking, its not only better for me, but also for everyone to have weather like this year I believe :)

This years weather felt perfect for me, since I'm more the person for the colder conditions. Not such a horrible heat like 2018 or 2019 when I thought to be in the Sahara desert.
Some heavy rain that we had one evening belongs to a real festival experience imho.
With 12 degrees at night I felt very refreshed,. Wearing shorts all day, only switching from shirt to hoodie.
Always on rave or moving, it was very comfortable for me. Didn't need shoes at all, it was like an endless beach party with all the sandy floors.
Some members of my group however looked like to be freezing when watching me.
