Bike jail? Seriously? Thats new for me. But it sounds so funny that i can just love this idea.

Its new for everybody this year
"bike prison" is the word that was used in the most recent crew newsletter
The way its described, it will be an impound lot like for cars, but for bikes.

People do what they do because it works for them, so sounds like a quite practical idea to make them relearn.

But do I understand you correctly, that there will be a) more parking areas for bikes and b) an extra area (bike prison) where a bike-crew will transport bikes which are parked outside the parking areas (f.e. on a escape route)? I love it.

Yeah thats how I interpret that too.
And of course there will be staff in the no biking zones to prevent the chaos from the last years and kindly remind the people to not ride their bikes.
But yes, thats gonna be fun, Im interested to see how many people got their bike to jail
And whats more fun for me, as part of a crew this year, I may very well get the chance to ride one of the allowed bikes inside the FSZ, if so, I will do that with a slightly smug face

Oooh big bad power and authority always corrupts?
Relax, its not like the bike gives me any super special rights or powers that elevate me above the others, it only means I can get faster to my destination when I have to get somewhere during work. And that I will be less likely to have an accident with some other person on a bike that might not be sober.
And we crews are just as much reminded to use the bikes responsibly and only when really needed, so its not like we are going to be riding around for funsies to rub it into your face.

Ich bin schockiert. Habe mir hier alles durchgelesen und Niemand hat geschrieben, dass er darauf angewiesen ist, Bier auf seinem Fahrrad zu transportieren. Ich bin klar dafür, dass Fahrräder mit zu wenig Bier an Board sofort in Fusion-Bikes umgewandelt werden.

Fühlt euch alle gedrückt und bleibt locker.

Gibt es eigentlich nochmal einen Newsletter oder bekommen wir alle Infos erst im Programmheft dann?

Moin zusammen, weiß jemand etwas aktuelleres zum Fahrrad Thema?
Ich habe diese Info aus dem November Newsletter leider heute erst erfahren und meine Anreise ist mit Rad+Bahn geplant.
Seit meiner ersten Fusion vor 10 Jahren denke ich über das mitnehmen eines Fahrrads nach und da ich seit Jahren immer auf der Insel Campe, jedoch viele Freunde von mir überall verteilt sind UND ich aufgrund eines Kreuzbandriss echt irgendwann Probleme bekomme wenn ich die Tage nur zu Fuß unterwegs bin, habe ich dieses Jahr nun alles darauf ausgelegt :/

Falls also jemand mehr weiß würde ich mich sehr über jede Info freuen.
