Sunday night is a lot of fun
I recommend to stay until monday or tuesday.

Since my 1st time (coming by bus, later), I always arrive as early as possible on Wed morning (around 8AM). The last couple years it has already been super full by then though, which felt utterly hopeless as far as finding a decent camping spot.

I personally enjoy staying until the very last allowed time, to reflect, integrate, downwind, clear my head and say my goodbyes in peace & quiet. I find that time just as invaluable to my experience, and wish just a few more stuck around also after Mon night. Everyone is always in such a rush to leave. It's a shame so few see value in that last offered time.

I’ve been usually staying until Monday midday because Sunday night is a very special atmosphere with all the stages closing, last walks around the festival area and seeing everything in a different light. If you still need there’s also party until Monday morning in the tents.

Last year I stayed until Tuesday morning to catch the rest of the Bachstelzen line-up on Monday night. I can not recommend this. My friends and my energy levels were gone after 5 days of party, and with nearly everyone leaving the camping space and very mysterious people coming instead the atmosphere changed drastically, at least for us. Also heard rumours about stuff getting stolen Mondays and Tuesdays. Imo better to leave the sinking ship when it’s at its glory, or just after on Monday morning
