We are a few going and I have some questions about when the festival (actually) ends. I can read and its says the 29th but does that mean that the partys, the sets goes on through Sunday night and we actually leave on Monday or does everyone leave on Sunday (if you wanna stay till the bitter end)?

And I would recommend that. From Monday on its getting empty in a lot of places and the feeling is not so nice anymore.

The big stages stop Sunday at 22.00. Some smaller ones continue throughout the night, but sometimes only at the bar. The last stage closes monday evening.

You should not leave your tent alone after monday morning. The area is essentially open to the public at that point and some shady people show up and sadly, stuff goes missing.

A lot of infrastructure (toilets, showers, etc) also starts being dismantled on Monday morning

I've personally always used sunday night to wind down a bit. Really like the afterhours feeling at the smaller stages. Come dawn I slowly make my way back to my tent, pack up everything and then take the bus towards Berlin at some point around noon.

You can stay until Tuesday and enjoy the return of the birds singing and the little mouses coming out of their holes again.
Just take good care of your belongings from Monday onwards.
You will be also be able to get a variety of delicious foods until Tuesday on "Platz der Republik" and a few other places.

100 %. I always stay until the very end for these very reasons. Makes for a proper goodbye too -- it'll be a whole year until we meet again (if lucky!)

My advice is: Leave Sunday. Many of my friends claim that they had their best Night on Sunday, but the price is high. Besides the shady people entering the area on Monday, the infrastructure is packed to the brim - showers, toilets, buses and trains. No thank you! But my most important reason is that every time I laid down in a real bad on Sunday night, I realize how much I destroyed my body and am super happy to give it some rest. Not only the legs and hips, but most importantly, your psychic. Partying for five days with unregulated sleep, minimum privacy and under the influence of substances can take a huge toll on your body and your mental health. Two years ago, I was dizzy for two weeks after Fusion. Can't recommend disrespecting your body like that. Or to put it in German: "Irgendwann ist auch mal jut "

I would never leave on Sunday, but I also know about my attachment issues.

Sorry for the bump, but I have a question about entering the camping area

I only have a ticket for Sunday, but my friends will already be camping from the first day of the event.

After the main stage ends at 22:00, would I be able to join them at the campsite to sleep, assuming they have extra space in their tents?

Yes. ONCE you entered the Festival there are no further checks or so
