Ban Meta sunglasses.

I recently went to an indoor party, and there was this one guy wearing sunglasses who everyone was staring at (like, who wears sunglasses indoors?). Later on, I found out through social media that he had filmed the entire party, including me and we all had no clue...

Dear organisation, please ban Meta sunglasses or ask people to not bring in your upcoming newsletter. Thank you!

That's awful :x Super sorry this happened to you! As it will be impossible for the KuKo to search for these glasses during entry, we can just hope, Fusion participants are thoughtful enough to not bring this shit.

Filming is forbidden on the dance floor, so if anyone notices somebody wearing Meta glasses, I recommend reporting it to the organizer.

just want to address we live in a time that filming does not only happen with phones anymore. especially with the spycams in the showers a couple of years ago.

Fusion dancefloor is an absolute non film area. Normally participants take care of such things. So thanks for telling in advance so everyone can take a closer look at their surroundings.
Worst case we have to smash some glasses

Well, 1st of all, if you've ever been at a techno club -- you MIGHT've noticed a whole load of ppl wear sunglasses. Indoors. All the time. I mean, come on!

W/ that said however, very good to bring this kind of devices to more public attention; I certainly wasn't aware of their existence.

Pardon my ignorance, but what would such glasses look lk -- is there a way to see the diff between those and regular sunglasses?

That's the problem, they basically look like normal black Wayfarers on the first glimpse (I had to check a search engine as well). Only with a closer look you can see two small circles left and right of the eyeglasses, which are the camera lenses.
They will be really hard to distinguish unfortunately, especially in the dark and in the normal "Fusion stages" someone is in at some point.

I also do sometimes wear my sunnys at night during dancing, to kind of hide behind them, so like you said, it's a pretty normal thing to do, but we should all be extra aware if someone with black Ray Ban Wayfarer style glasses is near.

Ooh crap. TYVM for detailing what to (try to) look for. Def won't be an easy task, but def in the back of my head now.

I have that style btw (simply cheap copies, kid's size even). Just got an idea to maybe put some colored tape on the corners, for ppl to easily see they are NOT Meta glasses? :)
