I would say Turmbühne. From 10 pm on its usually high bpm.

I guess people define hard techno differently. If someone's exprecting Ozur and these other tiktok DJs then its not gonna happen. But for example Jakojako played a hard set last year. Or at least harder than what she usually plays at Berghain. Fadi as well. There will be many hard high bpm sets for sure.

Its moments like these where I wish techno had more defined subgenres.
Yes, everyone understands hard differently, that is true. And I fully understand the subjectivity of musical taste and all.
But does a hard kick make techno hard? I dont think so, and people like Mohem are mind-numbingly boring to me, because their tracks are super repetitive. And yes, I know thats the point.
I dont understand hypnotic techno in general and cant stand listening to their music and find it annoying very fast.
What I believe makes hard music is not only hard kicks, but also drama, tension and the release of tension and some sort of sense of progression through the track. And Im sorry, in my eyes its not a creative achievment to make tracks without any tension or drama like Fadi Mohem or Stef Mendesidis do. Wow, make a decent bar, add a hihat after 32 bars, stretch the track to 6 minutes. Its hard to not be sarcastic here.
Im not asking for I hate models or sara landry, just some proper rough techno, doesnt have to be over the top tiktok-techno, havent said a word about that. But barely anyone delivered over the last couple of years, the last I can remember is the mentioned Philip Strobel.
Is he cliche tiktok techno for harness wearing 19 year olds? Id say no.

In moments like these, I miss the times when you could just say you listen to techno and people knew what you meant.

You absolutely speak from my soul. I also believe that this type of music is more commonly referred to as "hard groove". Please correct me if I'm wrong. And yes, sometimes I miss this kind of progessive, tension-loaded, dark Techno you were describing. Not only at Fusion but in clubs currently as well.

But to get back to the original topic of the thread: I think you're in good hands with the Turmbühne / Tanzwüste. Maurice Mino b2b Sin:Port was also at the Extravaganza last year, for example, which could also fit quite well into your desired genre.
The lineup is usually published shortly beforehand, so just take a moment to listen to it on SoundCloud. That's how I always do it. 😊

Maybe some of you think about the great hard-tech set there was last year like Ixindamix or Crystal Distortion a few years ago or the Spiral Tribe people...
And as an old guy I really hope for listening to this this kind of techno one day at Turmbhune !
And generally I'd like to ear more different kind of "electro-techno-house" whatever you call it on those big scene.
But I understand that this is not so attractive for younger people.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that style of techno isnt my thing either for the most part
