Volunteering with lighting crews

Hi all
During my past Fusions, I was particularly fascinated by the lighting and light installations across the site. Since then I have developed an itch to support this effort. I’m curious whether there is any lighting group or crew that is looking for volunteers in the lighting / technical domain. I have a background in engineering and I am based in Berlin

these guys are often engineers, eventtechnicians, light- or pyroartists etc. from germany and all over the world who come together specially for fusion and other festivals in that bubble. the airport in lärz is one of a rare kind of playground where projects can be realised more freely which would "not be possible" at "normal" events. i guess these people are mostly organized like informal groups. for example one of the many projects is "kollage kollektiv" which is located in berlin.
