We live in an era of wearable tech, but I think we really need to start raising awareness about how this is creeping into our scene. Especially with the shower spy cam couple of years ago.Bronkibär hat geschrieben: Fr 15. I had a pretty frustrating experience recently. I was at a rave and noticed a guy wearing these crazy, standout Oakley glasses. It immediately caught my eye because we were inside and literally nobody else was wearing sunglasses.
Afterwards, I was scrolling through social media and first I saw two hands in front of the camera that I was like; Huh how is he holding his camera?, totally not on my mind that it were the glasses still and to my surprise, found a video of myself looking right at him. It turns out those glasses were meta glasses. He had basically been walking around filming the entire event like a human spy cam.
I actually contacted him to call him out on it. The craziest part was his reaction: he was completely unaware that he was doing any harm. He genuinely just thought he was capturing "cool Instagram stories" to show his friends back in the US what a real European rave looks like.

Thanks for your "service". I really do hope he took it to heart. Absolutely cringe, what he did.Sturmenator hat geschrieben: Sa 16. Mai 2026, 12:55

It's not about making the world a better place; it's about making ourselves better persons. The rest comes naturally.
PLS HELP ME -- + friends? -- TO MY 10th ANNIVERSARY Fusion!!

Re: Ban Meta (sun)glasses
Weiß jemand ob dieses tatsächlich höchst problematische Thema beim Kulturkosmos auf der Tagesordnung steht?
Re: Ban Meta (sun)glasses
Yes, pleas ban it. And the same applies to drones. If I see Meta sunglasses or a drone, I will brake it. And many people will do the same. It will be rediculous, if the owners of these technologies can go to the Fusion securities and can complain about people who broke the bullshit. An official ban will help that the securities can stand on the side of the destroyers and not on the side of those douchhheads.

Hi @all: at least for Android Users there is a possibility to track such devices Like Meta glasses, search for "nearby glasses" App in Play Store (be aware IT could also detect false positives Like normal Bluetooth devices Like Soundboxes etc.) enjoy

For myself its Just a Thing of human being and also Evolution of Internet/social Media. With 70.000 visitors you cant do that much against instead of doing small Parties where you know nearly everyone. Secret raves should be the best solution to Rave free as a bird
Otherwise i calculate with the fact that someone Tooks Videos/Fotos of me. I Dont Care that much tbh, i Just wanna listening to masterpieces i never Heard before.

weird answer... you're only talking for yourself and that you don't care that much, but Fusion is not only about you. Luckily people who visited Fusion over the years do care and that's why you should also care. Fusion is one of the last places to rave free as a bird and we should try to keep it like that as long as we can as in the end we will lose from technology. Couple of years ago you didnt have service at all, now you already have service at Fusion because of 5G.Schmiechel hat geschrieben: Mo 25. Nevertheless, there is a difference between someone taking a photo with a phone/camera so you can still step aside instead of unconsciously being filmed with glasses. Fusion is not a place for camera's and def not spy cams.
