With a car ticket, lets say for area "E", you (theoretically) can choose your camping spot in this E-area. Theoretically, because when check in starts the staff does not open the entire area E for cars but only a part. As soon as the car number in this part is big enough the next part will be opened. And so on....
If you arrive with a car and you do not own a car ticket you will be led from check in to the parking zone where you park your car. And as far as I've seen it, theres the similar principle as above: open one part until nearly full, then open next part. To park as near as possible to E it MIGHT be the best to arrive not too early. In the last years the parking spots nearest to E were filling the latest...
But this year it's new with these A-B-C-D-E-F-car-tickets and also car check in seems to be not only from eastern side via landing strip but also from Lärz-side. So the situation MIGHT also be completely different from last years...
