Holi Fusionistas! Wegen der zu erwartenden Verbindungsprobleme auf dem Gelände wäre es super cool, wenn möglichst viele von uns vorab Bitchat (https://bitchat.free) installieren würden.
Die App ist für lokale/offline Kommunikation zwischen Geräten in der Nähe gedacht und funktioniert deshalb auch dann noch, wenn Mobilfunk oder WLAN überlastet oder instabil sind. Hauptbonus: Die Plattform ist datenschutzfreundlich, benötigt wenig Energie und kommt ohne Telefonnummern, Accounts oder zentrale Server aus. Vielleicht hat das Orgateam Bock auf es ein Teil der Infrastruktur zu machen, was sehr einfach und machbar ist, und ich wäre auch bereit zu helfen
Je mehr Leute aus dem Fusion-Swarm die App aktiv nutzen, desto besser funktioniert das Netzwerk insgesamt. Wenn genügend von uns online sind, können wir uns auf dem Gelände deutlich zuverlässiger koordinieren, Updates weitergeben, Leute finden und generell besser miteinander kommunizieren, selbst wenn das normale Netz ausfällt.

Hello Fusionistas! Given the connectivity issues at the venue, it’d be really useful if more of us installed Bitchat (https://bitchat.free) before arriving.
It’s designed for local/offline communication using nearby devices, so it can still work when mobile networks and Wi-Fi are overloaded or unreliable. It’s also lightweight, low-power, and most importantly privacy-focused with no phone numbers, centralized servers, or accounts required. I’m also available to help if the Fusion team wants to make this part of the festival infrastructure, it’s super easy to set up relays.
It’s most effective if more people in the Fusion swarm are actively using it. If enough of us have it running, we’ll have a much better chance of staying coordinated, relaying updates, finding people, and communicating across the venue even when normal connectivity falls apart.
